Professors at NIA recently presented their research paper titled "Urban Heat Island & Roofing Materials: A GIS based Spatiotemporal Analysis of Mangalore city" at the International Conference (ICCRCBM-2023) organized by NITK, Surathkal. The paper focused on studying the impact of urbanization and the use of different roofing materials on the phenomenon of Urban Heat Island (UHI) in the city of Mangalore.

The Sports Carnival 2023, a fun-filled event aimed at promoting good health & well-being among students was held on 11th March 2023 at the University Grounds, Deralakatte. The weeklong workshop held between 2nd and 8th March 2020, was along the lines of "Animalesque", a research and teaching program initiated by the Architectural Association School of Architecture in collaboration with Technische University Berlin.
