Research

Sreesha Bhat, Assistant Professor at Nitte Institute of Architecture won the Best Paper award at the International Conference on Sustainable Urban Development - Resource Conservation & Food Security held in Mangalore from 26th to 27th April 2019. The Paper titled The Need to Evaluate Urban Green Spaces in the City Core Case of Bengaluru analyses the qualitative and quantitative aspects of green spaces located in the urban core of Bangalore."

The institute will develop specialties under separate faculties that will research and develop new systems and techniques to augment these fields. This will help the undergraduate program in architecture develop a specialized learning unique among comparable schools of this kind. The research areas are Smart Cities Lab, Alternative Technologies and Energy & Sustainability Lab. There will be three broad areas of functioning for the institute research, teaching and practice.
